2015年1月14日，苏里南驻华使馆参赞皮纳斯・费莱德里克一行前往北京国际都市农业科技园进行了参观考察。

科技园工作人员热情接待了参赞，在介绍园区总体情况之后，带领皮纳斯・费莱德里克参观了展示各项新品种、新技术的日光温室、玻璃连栋温室等，并且详细介绍了科技园的物联网系统运用情况。

通过此次科技园之行，皮纳斯・费莱德里克表示看到了许多未曾见过的植物和技术，了解到了农业领域的多种新设施、新技术、新品种。参赞表示苏里南的农业还有巨大的发展空间，当地主要作物为稻米，多种水果、蔬菜需要进口，希望能与中农富通合作，共同促进当地农业的发展，逐步实现自给自足。

Counselor from Embassy of Suriname Visited Beijing International Urban Agricultural S&T Park

On Jan.14, 2015, Mr. Pinas Frederik.R — counselor of Embassy of the Republic of Suriname visited Beijing International Urban Agricultural S &T Park.

After a brief introduction of the Park, Mr. Pinas Frederik.R visited solar greenhouses and glass greenhouses which demonstrate new technologies and varieties. Also, Mr. Pinas Frederik.R visited the system of Internet of Things (IOT) of the Park.

Through this visit, Mr. Pinas Frederik.R showed his interests in the Park’s new technologies, new varieties and new facilities, extending that the agriculture in Surinam still has great potential to improve, the main crop in Surinam is rice, most of the fruit and vegetables need to import. He wished cooperation could be carried on with CAU FUTONG to promote the local agriculture in Surinam.
